Building on the 2015 ‘Mastering the Magic of Light’ platform, which I also produced, the new global campaign brings to life Panasonic’s cinematic credentials and Hollywood collaborations while highlighting their televisions' new HDR 4K technology.
The core campaign was made up of a 3-minute short, shot in 4K and mastered in HDR, crafted to visually explore the TV’s 4K Pro and HDR picture quality technologies. Resulting in a picture both truly exceptional and ‘True to the Director's Vision’.
My task was to create the Key Visual to be used across digital, print and needing to be suitable for very large custom outdoor spaces. With the finished image required to be well over 30,000 pixels across, I helped to specify the camera equipment needed for the shoot and recommended the different lenses to best capture the desert landscape in the highest possible detail.
The slideshow below shows a small amount of the work that went into compositing the numerous landscape and studio shots together. Custom Photoshop brushes were created and additional parts of the landscape were drawn from scratch. Combined with extra images which I sourced to complete the finished image.
